Old Mother Hubbard Supports San Diego's Displaced Pets
Wellness/Old Mother Hubbard Donates Holistic Dog & Cat Food
San Diego, CA (November 9, 2007) —The San Diego Animal Support Foundation (SDASF) recently announced that availability of free dog and cat food to pet owners who have lost their homes in the recent fires in San Diego. Wellness/Old Mother Hubbard Premium Pet Food (http://www.wellnesspetfood.com) donated 13 pallets of natural human-quality food to those financially burdened by the fires.
Sullivan Moving and Storage Facility in Kearny Mesa generously donated space to accommodate the food which was distributed to fire victims and rescue organizations throughout the community. People who have lost their homes, temporary foster families who are accommodating fire victims' pets and the rescue community picking up the burden of unclaimed pets were all offered the food.
Because Wellness/Old Mother Hubbard products were not affected by the recent pet food recall, the SDASF was especially pleased to announce the distribution of Wellness product.
