Old Mother Hubbard® Appoints Mark Shuster Vice President of Marketing and Jean Lizotte Vice President of New Products

Changes Will Strengthen Focus on Pet Specialty Retailers and Accelerate New Product Development

CHELMSFORD, MA, May 9, 2006 - Old Mother Hubbard®, maker of the Wellness® brand, and a leading national provider of natural pet foods, supplements and treats, welcomes Mark Shuster to the position of Vice President of Marketing and has named Jeanne Lizotte to the newly created position of Vice President of New Products.

Mark will lead Old Mother Hubbard’s marketing organization. He will be responsible for developing the company’s marketing strategy, identifying new approaches to reach consumers, and driving continued rapid growth. Mark brings over 25 years of experience with fast-paced, consumer-driven brands. Most recently he was the Chief Marketing Officer for Timex Incorporated. He has also held executive-level marketing positions for a range of dynamic consumer brands including Converse, Reebok and Faberge. Over the years, Mark has developed an expertise in business development, innovation, marketing strategy and the implementation of fully integrated marketing programs. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Economics from Connecticut College and a Masters of Business Administration from the Stern School of Business at New York University. Mark lives in Newton, MA, with his wife and two children.

As Vice President of New Products, Jean will be responsible for identifying, developing, validating, and launching new products. She was previously VP of Marketing for Old Mother Hubbard, having built the current marketing organization from the ground up. In the past 5 years, Jean has developed several line extensions for the Old Mother Hubbard and Wellness brands, and most recently launched the innovative Wellness Simple Food Solutions product line, for dogs with allergies.
