We have an immediate opening in Calgary for a Territory Manager to join our sales team. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing an account base of pet specialty retailers in your assigned geographic area of the Provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba with 40% overnight travel
- Delivering results against set sales and placement quotas
- Reporting on sales activities
- Implementing promotional sales including national promotions and new products
- Conducting product seminars, attend trade shows, dog/cat shows and other events with occasional weekend work
This position is ideally suited for an individual who has excellent verbal & written communication skills, a strong customer focus and is detail oriented & organized. Other requirements include:

Database/Software Developer (Tewksbury, MA)
We are seeking a special candidate with an excellent blend of programming and database skills as well as business knowledge and an ability to communicate comfortably with non-technical application users. Reporting to the Director of IT, key responsibilities include:
- Active participation in discussions and design meetings with management and business end users to gather and analyze business requirements and provide technical options, solutions, and software/database requirements, as well as time analysis to complete each project.
- Writing code/scripts to process data, tune existing processes, as well as designing and building full scale enterprise maps and integrations using an Enterprise Integration application.
- Following a standardized software development lifecycle and source code management process for all developed code and scripts.
- Assisting users by performing data research and for finding methods to improve the data integrity within the many data sources.
- Assisting users and consultants in the development of reports using Crystal Reports XI / Business Objects XI.
- Determining productive avenues of data interfacing throughout our enterprise with or without input from others.
This position is ideally suited for an individual who has a track record of delivering successful solutions to business customers with strong relational database and ETL design and development experience. Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years software/database development with SQL/Server, Oracle or both in a business environment
- Strong skills creating one-time integrations using ETL tools such as SSIS, DTS, SQL Loader
- Ability to quickly analyze, develop and support client or web based software application solutions (VB.Net/ASP.Net) to address immediate needs of users

Director, IT (Tewksbury, MA)
We are seeking a special candidate with an excellent blend of business acumen, technology vision, leadership skills and IT functional expertise. Reporting to the VP, Finance and IT, key responsibilities include:
- Lead initiatives to strengthen access to and reporting of a variety of revenue, financial and operation metrics in support of business growth
- Work closely with the departments to plan enhancements to ERP system and align implementation with the functions of each business area
- Establish, plan, prioritize and administer the overall technology policies and goals for the information technology department
- Develop annual and long term information technology business plans to support the business strategies
- Direct IT operations including infrastructure support and technical support for a geographically diverse user community and customer base, network and systems support, and key corporate initiatives to improve productivity and streamline operations

Senior Planner/Buyer (Tewksbury, MA)
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Planner/Buyer. In this position you will report to the Director, Planning/Purchasing and be part of the team responsible for ensuring that every dog and cat has their food and treats in their dish when they want them!
The person selected for this position will be responsible for the timely production planning of packaging and finished goods, and for all communication and coordination between our outsourced manufacturing partners and all supporting disciplines. Specifically, you will:
- Plan/Procure Finished Goods in support of our demand forecast and inventory goals, using our ERP system
- Procure product packaging and conduct shrink analysis of packaging materials
- Track market activities and project possible future cost implications for relevant materials and present findings to management on a proactive basis
- Develop and implement measurable programs to reduce material expenditures while maximizing product quality and supply integrity
- Qualify new suppliers and work with existing suppliers on an ongoing basis to support program and product requirements
- Some local and overnight travel is required
